Title: Structured lattice codes for approximately achieving capacity for half-duplex wireless networks Authors: A. Ozgur and S N. Diggavi Abstract: It has been shown recently that a new relaying strategy called quantize-map-and-forward (QMF) approximately achieves (within a constant number of bits) the Gaussian relay network capacity for arbitrary topologies. This was established using Gaussian codebooks for transmission and random mappings at the relays. We have shown that the same approximation result can be established by using structured lattice codes for transmission and quantization along with structured lattice-to-lattice mappings at the relays. In this talk we will examine arbitrary half-duplex networks and establish an approximate characterization of capacity through relay scheduling strategies.
