Modern computing systems must operate at increasingly higher levels of computational noise, while still producing acceptable outputs at the minimum resource consumption. In this talk, we discuss how coding theoretic methods can be successfully applied to the emerging robust and approximate computing. We present examples of coding-inspired analysis for both i.i.d. and non-i.i.d. computational noise, latter capturing radiation own outer space.
